My homemade 40/60 to 40/40 project w/ console
Since I've been somewhat strapped for cash and desperately wanted the 40/40 buckets with center console, I took matters into my own hands. The work overall, for being done at home with no experience whatsoever dealing with seats and fabric, it didn't come out to bad. I removed both seats, took my passenger side /60 seat and took it all apart. (I should of took more pictures of this part, but..) With patients, pliers, trimming and a hammer, I modified the passenger underside plate to look similar to driver, same with the foam, just trimmed to match. I carefully trimmed the fabric and tucked and fastened it to the bottom of the plate. I used some leftover fabric from the cutout to replace the usual worn driver side piece (local upholstery shop sewed it for $20 with seatcover removed) I was lucky to find the center console locally and almost in mint condition for $60, included brackets and bolts. Besides modifying the seat, everything is a pretty straight forward install, now I just need to clean the old seats and carpet. Just wanted to share my recent cheap home project, and thanks for looking.

Easy fix... Get Married! then sittin next to you won't happen any more and you can have a fine console like this one!! LOL
I think that costs more than any of the options listed currently :o
