2 problems. might be related...

well i got 2 problems with my truck that make it almost impossible to drive in the rain.

first, when i crank the heat up, it REEKS of coolant. im guessing heater core?

second, ALL of my damn windows fog up, and they never un-fog. as soon as i open the door and get in, they get foggy and stay that way no matter what i do. i can have the heat cranking on full defrost for an hour and it dosent do anything. i can also have all the windows open, it helps, but dosent completley get rid of the fog. and its thick fog too. i keep having to wipe off the window with my sleeve. its nice thick wet fog. any suggestions?

Yes.

There is a thread about changing the heater core, you'll have to search. It's a big job if you do it yourself, or expencive if you have it done.

Sorry.

The heater core may be both problems, but the de-fogging is done by the AC. If the AC works fine, then the heater core is at fault for both.
