Radio help

The radio in my 97 stopped working, and my 98 Explorer radio (cd player woo hoo!) fits right in there. but i have a problem, the power wire slides in perfect, but as you can see in the pic, the speaker connecter is different. what can i do to make it work? thanks guys!

By the way, that is my Explorer radio, and the that connecter is from the F150. i just need to find a way to somehow make that work

Well, I saw this thread a couple of days ago and had a thought..But.. since no one else chimed in, here it is:

The factory radio shown looks to be a 'premium' stock radio I have seen more than several times. My idea is kinda pricey and might be cheaper to get an aftermarket, but.. get 2 aftermarket wiring harness kits. One for the 'premium' and one for the other.

Plug the speaker portions onto each. The aftermarket wires are standard color coordinated, so you could tell which wire to splice from one factory to another. Easy for me to say since I used to have a box full of the aftermarket harnesses, but no more.

Good Luck
