Hey guys, im looking at 33 and 35in A/t's, and Tire rack along with other sites have 33x12.5R16.5? I dont understand the 16.5in part? my rims are 16in, and all of them are showing 16.5in. If anyone can help thatd be great.

Also whats the widest i can go on a 16in rim?

 

It's the wrong size.
you have a 16" rim, not a 16.5" rim. 305/70r16 is 33x12.50x16 315/75r16 is a 35x12.50x16

How "wide" you can go is based on the width ofthe wheel, not the diameter. My personal opinion, you need at least a 9" wheel for a 12.50" tire with at least a 10" being ideal. But, many run them on wheels much narrower...I wouldn't do it.
