Supercab body on Supercrew frame????

hey there, i was wondering if it is possible to swap the body of a supercab onto the frame of a supercrew. the overall legth of both are the same, as well as the wheelbase. but r the cab and box mounts the same?

the reason im asking is because i have a 98 f150 4.6L supercab with 400 000kms on it and the drivetrain is starting to fall apart but the body is in great shape. i have put lots of money into it already and dont feel like dumping more into the hole. so i found a Great deal on a 2002 f150 5.4L supercrew with only 120 000kms on it that had been rolled. and i hope to swap my body onto it and have a good looking truck that will last me a long time yet.

please let me know if i am wasteing my time, or if this mission has already been completed. thanks!

The trucks frame comes in three sections, From front bumper to firewall, from front of cab to back of cab,(this is sized to cab used) and then from back of cab to rear bumper,(this is sized or size of box). Frame mounts will not line up to body mount. Might be better to swap drivetrain to the truck you now have.

no the supercrew is longer under the body, and bends up later, where the scab is shorter under body, bends up sooner, and longer under the bed
