Hey rus, those mirrors are awesome. I looked at ebay and found some being sold by Option Racing. Are those the mirrors you have? Were they hard to install? My truck mirrors do not have blinkers on them. Would I be able to just plug in my power mirror harness and the blinkers on the new mirrors work? I looked up Option Racings website did a search, however, I can't get any information on the mirrors. Thanks!

The ones on Ebay appear to be the same. The mirrors bolt in exact location of originals. The wiring for blinkers should already be in place.Just a plug n play.

Luke: what kind of modifications did you have to do to the mirrors to get them to fit?? how good does it look, like it should or did the modifieing create gaps between the mirrors and the doors???

Hate to bug you with the same questions again, first time around didn't really provide any answers. How do the mirrors look after your modifying them?? Are there gaps or do they sit flush like they should?? How hard was it to modify them, was it just trimming the part that touches the door or did you have to rearrange the wiring pins or something?? Thanks for any info you can provide.

with the ones Rus have, and even mine, there shouldn't be any trimming to do
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/97-03...item255aecd3a9
Theres what Rus has (somewhat, I may have linked to a different option package mirror)

on my **** mirrors, I had to trim the plastic that surrounds the stud, that protrudes through the door skin.

I like the ones Rus has. Sucks that you can't have them as power adjustable. That's my only drawback since I have power to mine. Question to you guys. It says you can't use them on supercrews. Does that mean they won't work for my expedition?

do you mean power telescope or the mirror glass itself? because i looked (a few weeks ago) and they do have ones that the glass power adjusts you just have to keep looking, however, none that i have seen power telescope.

if i get a set wit built in blinkers, i dont want them to be blinkers, rather just marker lights that come on with my park lights. whein you installed yours can you remember if there was enough wiring on the mirror to do this easily? or is the harness really short?

I don't think they will work on yours because screw and expy are different. But i would rather have screw or expy because you can swap mirrors with expy all the way up to 2010 i believe.
