ECU Replacment

I have two 2002 f150 supercrew trucks only one has keys can i replace the ignition switch and ECU from the truck with the key and install it into the drivetrain of the truck that has no keys. The truck with the keys was rolled over and the truck without the keys has a bent frame. I would like to get the engine running before I spend to much time on it. don't really want the additional expense of a trip tho the dealership.

The ECU and the PATS system has to match in programing , otherwise you have no choice but to have a dealer reflash the whole assembly in the truck you install it in with two keys to use.
Good luck.

The instrument cluster holds the key ID info.

The key, the ignition switch, the instrument cluster, the GEM (its above the fuse box), and the pcm have to be swapped over and it will work.

I don't think it would be that hard if you already have everything. I don't see anything here that would be a major problem
