Hey guys. Couple of questions. First off with a BL affect how much weight you can put in the bed?(potential stupid question....i know). secondly, would adding a heavy-duty bumper and/or grille guard be possible?

No it doesn't affect how much weight you can put in the bed. It comes with crush blocks that you can weld in that will increase the load capacity of the bed, but some people dont use them. If you look in my albums, I had a grille guard on my truck while having a body lift. I had to custom make brackets for it, but it was still just as strong afterwards. The same goes with a rear replacement bumper. You will have to either try to bolt it up to the new bumper brackets with the body lift or make custom ones.
