F150 acting a little funny

I have a 2001 screw f150 and the last few weeks it hasn't been running right. Sometimes when I put it in drive from park it will die. Also when I turn the wheel the rpms will drop to 400 or 500 when idleing. Somtimes whe I'm driving it feels like it shifts into a gear too high and I have no power until I floor it then the power comes back. The last thing is that when I have the lights on and I try and roll down the windows or do somthing electronical the lights dim and the rpms dip. Sorry i wasn't very descriptive I wrote this from my phone if you have any questions just ask thanks for any help.

You did fine.
Some back ground for you to go from.
The intake system has a device called an Intake Air Controller (IAC) that keeps a tight control of the idle under load changes such as the alternator load, the A/C, the power steering and any load changes near idle.
If this device does not work correctly, you will see some of the results you discribe.
Get this issue corrected first then if there is another issue of accelleration under power, you address that seperately and address any diagnostic codes that may be set.
Most often the IAC can be removed and cleaned with throttle body cleaner.
Be sure to clean the throttle body bore around the throttle plate area.
Good luck..
