Detailed the truck/Polished the driveshaft(Lots of pics)

Yes, you read it correctly....I polished the driveshaft (hahaha)

I was off last week and finally had some time to give the truck a really nice detail. It also helped that my truck was going to be displayed in the K&N booth @ the 4Wheel Parts Truckfest 2010 in Orlando this past weekend, so I went all out

While I had the driveshaft out to polish it, I went ahead a painted the entire underside (cab/bed) of the truck. I had already stripped and painted the frame a few years ago, but the underside was still the factory a light grey.

So here is what I did.....I Washed, clayed, use the Porter Cable(Swirl&Haze remover/polish/machine wax)...removed alumnium driveshaft, polished driveshaft, painted the u joints...cleaned/prepped the underside for painting, painted underside gloss black...then of course, did the usual cleaning of the truck which takes about 7-8 hours before a show (LOL)

Alright, enough talk, here are some pics....

paint turned out quite nice

Also painted the exhaust black with high heat/temp paint...

Polished the driveshaft, painted the u-joints, painted the very tip of driveshaft(tranny end) also...

Here are some pics from Truckfest 2010.....

I disagree. That undercarriage looks way better than new! You gotta get some mirrors to set up so you can show it off.
