As for the hitch, it looks like most of the trucks on the road that don't have a hidden hitch. Just flip the trailor plug upside down and put a fresh coat of paint on it.

this may be a stupid question... but I was told that a body lift and the cranking of torsion bars will make your cv joints wear out quickly.. Does anyone know if this is true?

A body lift has no affect on any suspension components. Cranking the torsion bars up too far can cause sever CV and ball joint angles which will cause premature wear.

thats what the tow hooks look like after the body lift? Also question. Was talking to some guy about the wiring today, He was saying if you don't extend your wires for your tow hitch that they will stretch and have problems. Was he talking out of his butt or is there something you aught to do when doing this

there should be plenty of slack without having to extend them

Yes, you were given some misinformation about your tow hitch. If you notice, I flipped my wiring plug upside down to move it up.
My towhooks are from a 88-98 GM 4x4. I mounted them inside the framerails using my OEM hardware. They line up almost perfectly with the holes in the valance after the body lift. They really clean up the look of the front end and look much better than the Ford towhooks would have hanging three inches below the valance.
