The glass is broke on my DS mirror, it has a turn signal cap on it, can i remove the cap and put it on the plain power mirror i have or is the wiring not there? how does the cap come off? or can i remvoe the glass piece? how do i do that?

turn signal mirrors are different than regular mirrors, they are cut out where the wiring for the bulb plugs in. you can make a turn signal mirror a regular mirror but not vice versa. I just changed the glass, it pulls off.
