It def better. i kno my speedo is off but i wasn't sure if that affected my odometer or not. Even so i believe i can get over 400 to a tank now maybe. oh yea, its a 30gal tank
Your speedo being off is making your odometer roll alot faster than stock. So you see more miles than you've actually gone

It's your cruising RPM's that makes the difference. The sweet spot for the 5.4L's is 1900 RPM's @ cruise. But I'm usually @ 2200 at 78-79 mph and only 16 mpg.

Oh, and that's with 3.55's. -Yea, my chick may not have a butt, -that's alright, ~ she can't give me any S H I T.

Nice! That was more of an analogy to show you guys with 3:55s what you are missing out on, but that was funny so it slides.

Yeah, right now I think I am at about 1800 rpms doing 75mph, but it just seems like it really has to work hard pulling stuff and going up hills. I wonder how quick my trans would take a dump if I just put a blower on the truck...hmmm

NoNoNoooo lol. Well, okay, if Centrifugal is what you want. I guess that matters. There are centrifugal blowers (as posted above) and lobed (roots style) blowers. Centrifugal need rpm to generate pressure, so at low rpm they develop little pressure, while at high rpm they can generate very high pressure. Therefore you get torque at high rpm, but not at low rpm. The lobed blower is more positive displacement and will generate pressure at all rpm's, so you can get huge torque at low rpm as well as high rpm. So guess which is best all around ? @ cruising speeds with big tires going thru the mountains ? Positive displacement for sure

Don't get me wrong, - Centrifugal can be lots of fun as well, - specially @ WOT.
