Window scratches help.. and a few new pics :)

my drivers door has a lot of scratches is it any idea why. been like that for years

the tints probably just scratched up, put some new on it

Its not the tint. Mine was like that before tint and my dads 02 is the same way... I think it gets scratched somehow from being rolled up and down... It really sucks though...

debris gets caught in the little felt strip that brushes against the window as it rolls down and up. just no way around it.

i know its not the tint.. was like that before i tinted them

hmm..my friend has a lancer that did that, took the tint off and put new on and it was gone.

i know for a fact its not the tint.. it was there before just never really cared could see it much..

I just went to a junk yard and bought some windows out of a busted truck. I think it cost $25 each and they are simple to swap out. Hell its about time to do it again. Mud gets stuck in there from the woods and it eats it alive.

You can buff the windows on the outside and it will greatly reduce the appearance of the scratches. Also makes the water bead off easy in the rain.

It's from dirt and other random stuff getting stuck between teh felt and window like dirty88 said. Tint looks good by the way
