im going to be putting a new pcm in my truck after diagnosing that the other one got fried out somehow......is there any special technique to doing this such as a key sequence or something along those lines so it doesnt cause any problems? i also understand that i have to get the key programmed so my local ford dealer said they could do it for $40.....thanks guys

 

The replacement PCM must have the same program version loaded as the orginal plus the PATS and 2 keys.
$40 is a bargin for the reprogram work.
