Smile Help on my led swap

well i want to change my leds on my door switches and window switches i have already got my passengar lock switch to work but thats it i solderd my driver lock switch the same as i did the passenger and i wont work i cant get none of them to work except the passengar lock switch how do i know where the positive and negative go on the switch itself cause i took a shot on it on my passengar lock switch and i got it right but it didnt work on my driver side i have reitstors so i dont blow the leds thanks yall

yea i senn it thats where i got the idea from but my switches are differnt i have a 2003 f150

the same principles work for the switches really. dinggus did it on his 03 stx and went with red leds

so what im trying to find out where is the positeve side on my switch cause i know where the positive is on led.
