joh408's transformation thread

Figured I would start a new thread so I can have everything in a centralized place since there have been a lot of changes and there will be plenty more to come.
All Stock before:

Now:

List of mods:
7.5" Fabtech lift
16x8 Level 8 Strike 5 rims
315/75/16 BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO
10" RF Punch 1 sub
Profile HA700 amp (terrible I know)
Polk DB571 components
Sony CDXGT420IP CD Receiver
Blacked out Tails and 3rd Brake Light
California Badges
Vinyl over rockers
Nightshaded emblems
PTM White grill
Flat Black Bumper Pad, Valence and Fender Flares
PTM Tailgate Handle
Black lightning heads and corners

To do:
20% Tint on fronts
Paint back window trim and tow package black

Wants:
Dynomax Bullet Muffler x2
Magnaflow 18" x 3.5" SS slash cut tip x2
Programmer - SCT X3 custom tuned
Black bull bar - Ebay
Retro Solutions HID Kit
35% Tint on Windshield w/ 5% brow
Cowl Hood - Bolton
4.88 Yukon gears
Magnaflow 94106 Hi Flow Cat x2

Dreams:
Procharger P1SC
Long Tube Headers - Pacesetter
3" Body Lift - PA
37"x13.5x17 tires - Nitto Mud Grapplers or Toyo Open Country M/Ts
17x9 rims - Another set of Level 8 Strike 5s (love the look of these)
Daystar Coil Spring Spacer
2" AAL - Pro Comp

Might seem like a lot to want but I plan on keeping this truck until she kicks it which may not be for a while considering there are only 93,xxx miles on it and I drive around 5,500 a year. Gonna buy her from my parents once I get out of college and then she will be all mine. Can't wait

Are you going to use POR15? And mine is looking pretty bad too with all the salt from Colorado winters (and most of spring)

Trucks looking good man. I am in the process of doing a lot of the stuff you are doing and going to do to yours. Except my rockers and flares and pad are going black and I am redoing the whole truck white.

Well trying to decide if I wanna do the engine and tranny build or body first. I'm gonna be getting some extra money here soon so that's where my decision is at.

I think you should paint your fenders black instead. Its expensive to get it done but if you do it yourself its not to bad. I did mine because I hated the tan and they turned out great. Nice truck, its definetly coming along.

Truck is coming along nicely. I need to under coat mine some day, too. Definitely need to wait till Fall, this 100* weather and 100% humidity is killer!
