should i change seats

i know i have already asked this but i need some advice here. my 60/40 seats in my 99 lariat are tore and cracked. i am goin to college in the fall and instead of getting another truck with a little less than 214,000 miles i was just going to get some new seats like i have but have been looking into the bucket seat and center console swap. i was wondering what is the advantages/disadvantages of the swap? any help would be appreciated.

Well you can try and find another set of leather but they get expensive or just have yours recovered. But I like my buckets cuz of the extra storage and the overall look and comfort plus alot more flexibility on what I can do

I ended up with a 60/40 split in mine, and I hate it. The floor's flat enough that anything that's laying on the passenger side can come over, I'd swap out to buckets & a console in heartbeat, if I could find the right combo. The ex-cab has the funky seatbelt mounts on the seat, so I'm not sure if you can use navi/expy/screw/regcab seats.

that's only certain years that have the in seat seat-belt combo, my supercab has the belts mounted on the ceiling
