My old truck wasn't exactly like yours, but it was similar. Mine was a 4x4 SCrew, I put a 3" body lift on it and a set of 35's on the stock wheels.

A pic of DeereGeff's truck at stock height, or any other stock height 4x4 would be a better comparison. The 97-03 4x4's sit about 3 inches taller than the 4x2's.

Yeah your truck was sick man, i'm looking toward murdering mine out. just the hard part is getting the money to do since i'm only 16. but once it's done it's going to look real aggressive.

I'm thinking about getting a 3.5 inch Fabtech suspension lift.
I didn't know they sold a susp lift for 2WD smaller than 6". Where did you get the kit? And ya Wandell is right just park it next to a stock 4x4 to see how high a 3.5" kit will put you.

^^^^ he's refering to a spindle lift and honestly you don't need to waste the money on the fabtech spindles since they're so much more expensive than the doestch ones that's are just as good.

Yeah I see what your saying, that is a pretty penny. I want my truck to be lifted up a little because as of now it looks GAY. What would be the cheapest route to it? I'm looking forward to puting 33's on it.

you can fit 33's with a leveling kit.

i have the doetsch 3.5 spindle lift with 3 inch blocks and it sits real good. level and noticeable, tire size 285/75/16 (33.2)

I'll go ahead and throw in my recommendation of getting the 6" kit (fabtech or RCD) and doing it right the first time. Pics in my gallery.

I will admit, though... as I get older, I sometimes wish my truck was a bit lower.

you can do a set of doetsch 3.5" spindles, 2" lift coils, and 5" rear blocks and shocks for what that fabtech kit costs. call doetsch and talk to them iirc b2therad paid about 900 for everything but the rear blocks which are around 115
