Parking brake pedal issue - Video Clip Included

When I got the truck about 2 years ago, all was good with the parking brake pedal. Over time though it seems like it has worn down. The parking brake pedal itself does not spring back to the fully released position as it used to, which leaves my brake light on. I have to keep the release pulled, and then pull the brake out manually to get the brake light to shut off. It's real tough to get in there and look, so does anybody have any ideas as to what it may be?

Here's a clip of what I'm talking about:

Mine did the same thing, and I had to replace the parking brake cable on the driver's side rear.
