Can I change my 25 gal fuel tank to 30 gal?

My fuel tank is leaking. I think my tank is rusted out. Does anybody know if I can relplace the 25 gal tank in the truck now with a 30 gal. I would like the extra volume if it can be done easily. Does it bolt up with no problems and will it accept the origianl sender, fill tube etc? The only thing I think I will need to replace are the straps since they should be longer. I have a 2002 King Ranch 4x2 extended cab with 6.5ft bed. Thanks for any help.

All the 6.5'beds got the 25 gal tank.
All the 8' beds got the 30 gal tank.
There were no tank options available so I assumed this was a space constraint issue.

I think the tanks are made of polythylene so it may be cracked but, not rusted.

Thanks for the reply. I am trying to figure out if it really is a space issue. There seems to be a lot of space to the front and rear of the stock tank. I do believe it's a steel tank. I am picking chunks of rust off of the seems. Unless the tank is plastic inside with a steel shell. All the replacements I've looked up so far state it's a galvanized tank.

Steel tank, inside and out. I would think you would need to change the pump if its any deeper.

Well Duh!
I guess I got too many vehicles. My tank is steel.

I should have remembered that because those magnets down there are why I'm getting 38 mpg.

Move em to opposite sides of the tank and I hear you get 42mpg

You would know better than me.
When I was shopping, I wanted the bigger tank and was told I would have to order the 139" wheelbase regular cab to get it.
There wasn't a fuel tank option on the checklist and I was ordering a 120" w.b. regular cab.

The 30 gal was standard equipment on the longbed but, maybe there was a delete option?

For years I thought I had a 25 gal tank on my boat (bought used). Longtime before I saw it was spec'd at 30 gal.
I guess I just never wanted to run out of gas out there.
