I finally decided to paint my emblems and remove the decals!

Hey Ford fans I finally decided to paint my emblems and take the decals off, got tired of seeing the chrome and stickers. Lol I see an emblem and I want to paint it black.IMG]https://www.f150online.com/forums/members/chiaronate-albums-my-pictures-picture136419-dsc04405.jpg[/IMG]

Yes thank you, darn Ford and their holes..I don't want to spend the money for body work. It gives it an interesting look with them black, kind of like the Nightmare F-150, so I don't mind it.

looks good and cleaner. the two locating pins I can maybe understand, but the big one in the middle was a shocker. can't find the thread that shows what it looks like with them removed, but the fender ends up looking like a bowling ball.

I removed all of them, it was really hard to get the adhesive off. I would have left them on and taped, but I don't have an indoor place to paint.

I figure it's for a different emblem, maybe v-10? Anyone know what the other hole is for?

Looks good! I like the smoked corners. You plan in smoking the tails?

Thanks, I'd rather just leave them off like on your truck but body work is expensive. I already have the taillight tint, just need to make an appointment to have it put on. I tried it myself already, didn't come out good like the corner lights.

I couldn't tell that the emblems were on in your signature, I just looked at your pictures and saw them on there. I don't think it looks bad at all with them on, but if it weren't for the holes they wouldn't have gone back on.

Nah, they're still there. I blacked em out a little while back. I wasn't sure about how they were gonna looked blacked out at first, but after I did it I thought they looked pretty good!

I agree, if not for the holes they'd be gone though. I helped a buddy remove his badges on a Chevy 1500 the other day. Man they're so easy to remove anything from. I think Chevrolet builds them with double stick tape!
