coils bad?

Got in my 1998 f-150 4.6L friday morning to go to work after a night of rain and my truck wouldnt start. Turned over good just wouldnt start. Changed fuel filter (old filter was plugged)no start, fuel press. after filter chng 40psi! changed spark plugs with motorcraft plats, plugs i took out i assumed were orig.dont know just bought the truck two months ago 90,000 miles(electrodes rounded .075 gap) also replaced wires. truck started hard after this but misses bad during acc. checked coil pks primary ohms looked good but the secondarys were high 14.30 kohms. went to autozone to check a new one and the new one was also right around 14.30 kohms. The haynes manuel says secondary should be 6.5-11.5 kohms. The trouble is that theres no code showing up. Also devoleped a wicked spark knock. Also ran through and checked injectors they all seem to be fine. curious if i should check around maybe for some better coil pks auto zone is good for some things but not for others.
