BAD squeaking after control arms install!!!

I have a '97, 4.6 liter with 220,000 miles on it. Put new upper control arms on it recently and ever since then it squeaks in the front end during any kind of turn or shift from one side to the other. In other words, I can be driving straight and just weave left to right and back and forth and it squeaks every time. If I'm going straight and hit a bump or something it doesn't make the noise. My question is this: After I installed the control arms should they have been lubed with some grease between the bushings and mounts that they're bolted to? And/Or should they have NOT been torqued down until I had the weight of the truck on them so they wouldn't bind. I ask the last question because when installing a lift on a Jeep nothing could be tightened down until the weight of the vehicle was on the suspension to prevent a stiff ride and binding. Could that be the case with my truck now? Any feedback is much appreciated!!

yes they should be under weight before final torque, or atleast placed in their normal operating location before tightening down.

You can temporarily remove the sway bar to confirm you arent hearing sway bar bushings/endlinks that are creaking.
