A/C Issues, Questions
2004 F-150 XL 4.6L Supercrew 4x4 (manual transfer)
I have read all the threads here about issues with A/C problems. Seems there are varying solutions. I can tell you that I had a 2002 King ranch Crew Cab and did not have cooling issues. I didn't have to put any electric fans on my King Ranch and it had a far bigger cab area than this one.
Mine absolutely sucks! My mechanic has checked it out and says everythins is up to par and does not know why it's not colder. It's been in the high 70's out here and I have to run it on Max to even stay half way comfortable.
My older 4-runner Toyo will freeze you out and so does my wife's Lexus.
This is going to suck when it hits high 90's out here in crap humid SouthTexas weather this summer.
People on the forums are saying there is a service bulletin for this.
My question is has anyone had any luck with taking it to Ford dealer and getting the PCM re-tuned for the AC to make it colder?
