Pull the connector to the injector while its running, see if it makes it any worse. Same with the coil just for fun. Look for either one to not make a difference when unplugged.

I'm going to change the other 7, the gap on it was a lil over 80 thousandths and I put the new one at 54, which was reccomended is that what everyone runs? trucks got alot better power now, must of been junk for awhile, original motorcraft plugs with 151k miles...

is there a how to on the plugs? do u have to remove certain things or? I dont want to go and take everything off for no reason. I recall hearing the fuel rail has to go but I did the #1 coil and plug with it on there no problem??

When I replaced mine I had to unseat the fuel rail. If I remember correctly it helps with the ones closer to the back. I also removed the throttle cover and something else but I cant remember what it was exactly.

My throttle cover's been gone, I lost the bolts, haha...Ive only got 1...I have to get some someday. I actually like it better off, more access, it seems as I'm always fixing this thing.

If you want to drive to rochester I'll give ya a hand.

But honestly just remove only what you need as you go along so you don't have to start ripping everything out. It's nothing hard, it took me like 1.5 hours to remove the old plugs and cops and put new plugs and cops in my first time.

No not all if you take your time. Also you might want to order a whole set of cops from ebay. Only like $80 if I remember. I had a wicked misfire, replaced the bad cop, went away, and then came back in another cylinder. Might as well replace all of them at once while you are changing plugs. Once one goes they all start failing one after another.
