Hi all -
I'm starting to think about installing that center console that I've seen others do. I have some questions I'm hoping you can answer before I start getting the parts.

1) (*Dumb questions alert *) - I'm assuming no modification is required of the console to butt up to the bottom of the dash. Correct?

2) I have a Lariat Screw with power driver's seat and manual passenger/middle seat. Can I just simply remove the passenger/bench combo and replace with a captains chair passenger seat and buy the console to install in between the two?

3) Along side #2 - If I go that route does the console sit snug with the seats or will there be gaps? (in other words, do I need to put in expy seats or something)

4) Those with a Screw, how far back does the console go? Does it make the back leg room smaller now?

1. Console will go right up to the dash. No mods needed.

2. Yes, that will work fine.

3. As for gaps, nothing noteworthy in my book. Everything looks just like it belongs there.

4. I have supercab, so I couldn't tell ya!

well i have an extended cab but the back of the console doesnt seem to go back much farther, if any than my old center console. to me, definetly isnt a deal killer.
