I have the gryphon. Its been great and I would buy it again. HP gains in the 2v are closer to 15 but its still worth it. The only thing with mine I dont like is when its hot out the display dims. Do like the tire size calibration and the ability to monitor several engine sensors.. I get better gas mileage when I drive nice.

on level 3 i stay even with the 5.3's. before they would smoke me it was pretty embarassing. Ive raced about 3 of them since the edge and it is neck and neck i cant pull on them but they dont pull on me either. Good thing about my truck is i have limited slip and both tires grab and the 5.3 is spinning the right rear off the line.

Didn't they discontinue the gryphon for these models?

Nevermind, I thought I read something... I wonder if it was they are no longer doing the edge/gryphon upgrades?

I think they have quit taking in the 03 and proir model. They are switching to the new hardware I think.

I know PHP stopped selling the evolution styles for our model trucks. But the cs and cts is now available.

I have a question someone said around 15 hp gain with just the tune? With CAI and exhaust will that be more for a custom tune?

I just had Bill put a tune on my 01 and of course it doesnt feel as strong as my 06 but i wasnt expecting it to either. It was worth every penny for the gryphon on both trucks. who cares about peak HP gains? Its a truck and i wanted a smoother, quicker and wider power band with quicker shifts and an all around better driving experience. you will not be disappointed I promise!!! you can always just have him burn a chip for $230 and you will get the same results just with out the monitor.

Doubt My big ol heavy **** wheels and tires will spin but never tried. My truck has 212k miles on it so I try not to bash it too much. I just wanted the gryphon for a better running, better shifting truck. Even a buddy of mine with a highly modded HD F150 was impressed and will be swapping out his predator for a PHP chip.
