Crime in Italy Chuck!!!

Where the heck can a guy find the specs on his F150 without paying a friggin arm and a leg for a manual or registering for 20 different sites who just really want to shove their ads up ur' kazoo!!!

Ok so I am in the market for a trailer. Camping, hunting etc. I got a 1997 F150 with the 5.4L. Everything is stock. It's got the short box. I got the wife, 2 kids and 800lbs of sportbikes to haul.

Whats the heaviest load I can tow comfortably with the truck and still have the bikes in the bed? What can the suspension handle? Better yet does anyone have a spec sheet or know where I can quickly look at one online?

Thanks for any assistance.

Comfortably, you can tow a 5000-6000lb trailer, fully loaded.

If you no longer have your little manual in the glove-box, download it @ motorcraft.com.

I dont know what the specs are but i can tell you I have a little trailer weighs about 5,000 loaded and I wouldnt want one any bigger. Truck tows it fine but that as big a one I'd want to pull with my truck.
