How the heck do you remove the PCV valve from a 2002 5.4L engine? Why does Ford have to make the simplest things complicated? I can't figure out what all they have wrapped around the PCV valve and afraid to start tugging on it for fear of tearing something else up.

 

Mine just poped right out tho some of them were screw in if it blue or white and has a square towards the bottom it screws out.. i think your will be like mine just pops out the valve cover.. the covering is a insulater you can peel it back some if you need to

 

Yours has a coolant line of sorts wrapped around it ? Yes ?
