only because the cheap paint job on the front bumper is flakin and the bumper is startign to rust.. and i just dont feel like paying to have it painted red again when the black will be waaay cheaper.. not a single place around me sells a painted rear bumper.. and new from rock auto is almost 500 bones... nooo way am i paying that

You should just keep your heads and black them out. I have the same ones as you and thats what I did. Best 10 dollar investment I did to mine. Lookin good though!

yea i know thats the original plan.. my headlight lens's are starting to yellow a tad.. i tried restoring them and it worked a lil bit.. im hoping by blacking out the backgrounds it will take away from the slight hint of yellowing.. the corners are like brand new still.. i just hope i can open the lights a lil more carfully than my tails that i destroyed....
