I use an independent shop. They have been really good about getting me in and keeping the repair costs down but I am starting to see that there are little problems after the repairs that usually take some time to discover. No, the clicking noise did not stop. To the best of my knowledge the clicking noise started right after my first set of ceramic pads. The ceramic pads are touted as " the best " and strongly recommended " we only use premium parts ". I should have checked on here first and will before any future work is done. My 99 has been and still is the best vehicle I have ever owned. 11 years with only minor repairs. Been thinking alot about a new vehicle, because things are starting to wear out, but every time I start pricing I just cant see spending that much money. So, I try to have things replaced when needed and hope for the best. I am not a mechanic and dont have a place or the tools to work on it.
