Racing Seats

Does anybody know or has any body done a racing seat upgrade in these trucks. I have a 1998 with the bench and would like buckets but i was also thinking about getting seats with a 5 point harness or something like that. Any help would be greatfull thank you.

pretty sure 5 point harnes is illegal for street use, unless of course you kept the stock seat belts. i thing the seat belt has to be capable of being cut in one spot which releases the rest of the belt in the chance of an accident so rescuers can pull you from the vehichle. but i could be wrong....

I don't think they are illegal here, maybe varies state to state? I see them all the time in the ricers cruisin around here. Definitely would go with buckets, those 5 point seats just aren't my style at all in any car, and are super uncomfortable in my opinion

What Stoff said. The corbeau are sweet, and I can't wait to get some just a lot of coin for some seats. haha

They're all over the lightning forums

I have thought about doing racing seats as well but I have to have the middle seat up front so if I ever figured out a way to fit them I would. With the belts just make sure you don't just screw the back ones to the floor, they need to be directly behind your shoulders.
