Is that as close is you can get it to the grill ( the bumper)? Looks like it needs to go up another 1/2" or so. It's a PITA to get it set right, if you can without modifying.

I like that style best

hah yeah, it seems to clean the front end up a little. Does the front valence on the '99-'03 bumper hang down further than the '97-'98?

Yes it does stick down further. It also has more of a curvature back towards the tires so more likely to rub the valance and what not.

I appreciate all the comments guys. I still have a bunch more to do which should be going down soon. Ill keep yall posted.

Oh and jake, stop flattering yourself I do what I want fool.

If you really wanted to, you can nudge the bumper closer to the grill fairly easy. I just noticed that because it was a pain getting it back right after I removed mine. The hardest part would be marking center on the mounts, from there you can notch the mounts a little to slide right in place if you know what I mean and if you have to. Don't get me wrong , -looks good, - my 98 factory pics show it closer to the grill.

Hmm.. I will have to see. I have it bolted to body lift brackets. Im sure it could be a bit higher, but my main concern was making sure it looked level. Once it was nice and level then I just left it as-is. Ill take a look at it later tonight to check

Looking at the front end of mine and using the frame horns to compare it looks like just an inch or so. I just noticed it but are you gonna PTM the bumper pad or do is there a blackout out coming along like jake?

I am not 100% sure what I wanna do. I really like the black bumper, but at the same time it would look pretty sweet blue.
