there shouldnt be a difference in the years of a lightning. only changes in the 2nd gens were motor differences & some cosmetic exterior differences (i believe)

The gen1s are a totally different body-style.And the interior is too.
The gen2s started in 99 and went to 04. There the same body-style as the 97 to 03 F-150s

I think he was talking soley about the 2nd gens. When he said difference, he meant difference in the 99-04s.

Almost forgot..

Talked to the guy today about the lariat seats. He told me prices, and told me about a couple more sets he has as well, for all that were interested.

Gray leather lariat buckets and center console from a single cab. Show signs of wear. $350

Gray leather buckets, and back leather seat from a supercab. Belts on seat. $450

Tan leather lariat buckets, and rear from a supercrew. Belts on seat as well. $500

Will get pics of seats when I go either tomorrow, or Monday to get the L seats.

Also, don't forget, I'm gonna be putting my current 60/40 gray cloth, and my Tan leather lariat 60/40 with back seat from a supercab up for sale as well.
Pics soon to follow.

99 didnt have handles on the pilars (still trying to locate some)

I think its 00-01 has the rounded loop handles and the 02-04 has the square cut handles

as far as i know the door panels were same from 99-03 the 97/98 was different.

Got a late start on the seats today. Lightning bucket is power, my original wasn't. So, gonna have to run a wire from the seats to the fuse panel. Picking #3, the cig lighter one. So, had to get the wire and things for that, so it got dark, and called it a night. Gonna tackle it tomorrow. Keep an eye out for pics.

Anyone have anyother ideas for wiring the seats in? We think we have it figured, just not sure if there was another way people have been doing it.

Dont the seats draw a good amount of power? you might blow fuses if you go that route.

yah i went straight to the battery so it could be moved when the key was off, i think ive got a 25a fuse in a separate holder near the battery.

ground bolts can be found all through the inside of the firewall and foot well, they are green painted bolt heads

The #3 fuse, (cig lighter fuse) is under constant power. Key not needed.
I think it is 25a as well. Not 100% though, as I dont have the book with me.
You do have me worried though. Gonna have to look at those other options.

What fuse are the seats hooked up to on a 150 that had power seats stock?
