Lifting... what's involved? More trouble than it's worth?
Crank the t-bars for free and a 2 inch block in the rear for 75 bucks....with the alignment youll need thats 145 bucks and a 2 inch lift....then buy a 3 inch BL for $180 bucks and you and a buddy install it yourself and youll have a five inch lift and will clear very easily 35's on stock wheels....id say go on and buy 16" wheels and save money on tires cuz theyll be less expensive in a 16 inch.....im not a fan of BL but lot less expensive than a susp.
Oh sweet, I am late!
Well, like many people have said you have a body lift option which would be much cheaper and you can run 35s all day. You could run a body lift and a brand new set of tires for around $1500 or so. (I see you are in canada? Maybe its more expensive there?)
I dont see the lift kit you are wanting affecting your 7700 package because the "7700 package" has nothing to do with your steering or suspension with the exception of your shocks and torsion bars. Well, there is the frame also. I dont know exactly what the difference is between your frame and a normal f150s is. I do know that pro comp makes a lift for your truck which is a 4" lift. The only problem with that is that the lift is like $1700 just about anywhere you look. I think you would be better off going with a body lift if all you want is a little clearance for 35s.
I run bfg all terrain KO's which I have seen get close to $245 a tire, but I have never paid that much for one. Usually, you can find them at "ma and pop" tire shops for way cheaper and thats how I go about getting mine. Great on the road and great off the road unless you are talking alot of mud. They work best IMO at the beach, but I havent tried them in snow. Another thing about them is that they make little to no road noise so you dont hear a growl like some beefy mud tires would make.
Now, just to throw this out there, I paid a smidge over $800 for my wheels. Dnasty was not nice enough to let me in on his 50% off deal. Then again, I got 16x10s which supposedly they had to "custom order". (not so sure about that one)
Anywho,
I tried.
