My Dad's first Ford ever
My Dad's first Ford ever
Well Ford owes me one for converting a diehard Chevy man.
We went to a Richie Brothers auction to get Dad a different farm truck and came home with a 2002 F250 with a 5.4 and 155K miles.
Of course we couldn't test drive it first and when we got it home we found out it was only hitting on 7 cylinders.
i figured it was a coil so I tried to switch it out and the nut molded to the manifold was stripped.
I ended up having to pull the entire intake manifold to get that bolt out!
Luckily I had an extra intake manifold laying around that came with my supercharger. And luckily I knew what I was doing since I just did my blower install last week.
Long story short.....it runs great now!
He had to give 4K for this thing. That sound about right?
It's a old construction truck, a/c seems to be the only option, it is 4x4, and it's kinda beat up.

headache rack, fairly junky toolbox.
it's not too rough. I mean it looks pretty good from 10' away at least.
It's a TX truck so hopefully he won't have to worry about rust for a while.
