Advice!

hey guys, i haven't been on in a while but i have a question. I have a 98' F150 4x4 with the 5.4 V8. I did the Gotts mod and i have a K&N filter. I have the 40 series flowmaster exhaust, SI/DO (not sure of pipe sizes). I also have the Edge Evo Programmer set on level 2. Sometimes the programmer will just cut off. I will turn the truck off, unplug it, plug it back in, crank the truck and it comes back on. It automatically sets back to level 2 and things carry on like normal. However, I have noticed a little bit of a difference in power and my gas mileage is about 12mpg. What can i do to get/add power back? And is this mpg normal? Oh and i have a 3" BL with 305-70-17 Nitto Terra Grapplers... thanks in advance for the help!

P.S. - if i change my muffler to a Dynomax Race Bullet, will it be a lot louder?

You have a loose connection and with those tires that mileage is about right. The display shuts off if the connection is interrupted. The only mods that really improve performance on these truck short of a blower is headers, e-fans and re gearing especially if you have oversize tires.
