I am the original owner of my 97 F150 SC 4x4 with the 4.6 and 185000 miles on it. I would love to swap my motor with a supercharged one from either a 2000-2003 Lightning or a Harley model. Has this been done, would it work, is it fairly simple or would it require a lot of fabricating, what would I need? I would be able to get both the wire harness and the trans if needed.

Yes, it's been done by quite few. Head over to the "Engine" forum on this site and search that forum only. There's a search bar for that, you have to look for it. It's on the right side and a drop down will say - "search this forum only"

Search "Lightning swap" or similar.
