Extended Brake Lines????

Hey Everyone, I jsut got done installing the RCX 5" suspension lift on my truck. It says you don't need to get extended brake lines, but the factory ones are under some tension when turning to the left or right. I want to buy some that are a few inches longer. Anyone know where to find them?? I apprecaite any help in advance.

http://www.rockymountainsusp.com/W_brakes_Fd.htm. This is just a quick one I came up with, with a Google search. Here's another...http://www.wheelersoffroad.com/blines.htm.... you would have to contact them with specific application though. Used 2002 F250 4wd for example on this one : http://www.4wheelparts.com/Brakes/Sk...4159&t_pl=3834

I did the same google search you did and found all the same results. None of those links above are for the 97-03 trucks. One of the is actually for a suzuki samurai? If anybody has a set on their truck please let me know wher eyou got them from.

This was just brought up on the wheels/tires/brakes section. Just passing it along.

Thanks for the link! I just placed my order. Going to be alot more comfortable taking the truck offroad with the brake lines being long enough.

Once you get 'em, be sure to stop back here and let us all know how they fit, quality and shipping info. I am also looking at this upgrade.
Thanks

Will do. I believe I should have them on sometime by the middle of next week. I will be putting them on as SOON as they get here. I am starting to get nervous driving my truck around with the factory lines on there because they are stretched so tight at full drop.

Recieved these at my house today. Let me say that they look to be some VERY high quality lines, which they definitely should be for the price. I will be installing them tonight or tomorrow. I will post up pictures once I get them put on.

These lines perform awesome! I just put them on tonight. They mount up right where the old lines did. The only modification that I had to do was to bend the factory hard line just a little bit to get it to line up with the new mounting brackets for the stainless flex line. I just got done driving the truck for the first time and I can DEFINITELY feel a HUGE difference in the stopping performance of my truck. It is night and day different. If you were on the fence about getting a set of these I HIGHLY recommend it!

Glad to see that someone else here is adding the safety of some stainless steel lines to their truck. I have had mine installed for almost a week now, and I absolutely love them. Before these lines, I had a very spongey brake pedal feel. But after these lines were installed, I barely have to touch the pedal and the it feels nice and hard. I have all kinds of pressure with these things. This goes into my top 5 mods done to the truck.
