2003 FX4 fog light mod?

Right now, when my headlights automatically come on the fogs do not I have to manually change the switch to "headlights on and pull the dial" to get the fogs to come on.

I did a search but all the threads were super old. Is there a way to make the fogs come on with the headlights on my truck?

here try this link. the only difference with your truck should be the switch removal. i belive there is a link inside this like to the newer version if you dont know how to get the switch out. Other than that, the mod should be the same, take the switch out, modify it, and jump (i think) the brown wire and the white with a black stripe. it says for sure inside the link. for you to do the 'auto' posision mod, that is disscussed at the very end of the thread. i believe you just have to completely remove the 'ramp' instead of just modifying it. hope this helps.

Just run a jumper wire so that your fogs come on with the side markers. Thats what I did.

I think his way will have the fogs on anytime the headlights are on. The link I posted will give you the option of turning the fogs on/off. The choice is yours ...
