Painted FX4 wheel idea

I saw a Ranger FX4 the other day and noticed they're basically the same wheels (but in 16") but have darker contrast in the painted areas. Mine are aluminum and silver and I thought about painting all the silver areas black or maybe dark shadow grey. So I made a PS...what do ya'll think??

Yeah, I'm kind of going for subtle...by "my way" do you mean what's on there now or the PS pic?

I think that the black/dsg on them looks better than before. Your PS is what I am talking about.

Yeah I just think it give it a deeper look. And I just can't find any wheels that I like any better than my FX4 wheels - my favorite OE wheel.

It's not that I don't like them, it's that I don't like them any more than the wheels I already have. Too many of the aftermarket wheels are too "busy" for my tastes.

I think painting them black or DSG would look awesome. The FX4 wheel has always been one of my favorites too.

Do it. It'll look sweet and your right it's subtle enough to look factory.

I thought Ranger FX4s had the Alcoa rims? Either way, your idea looks rather good.
