you are saying that its harder to smoke the tires doing a brake stand than it is to smoke them taking off from a stop?

I can smoke my 4.6's tires from a stop, last night I launched it at about 1200 RPMS and got the slightest hair sideways, I couldn't believe it.

Yeah because you don't have the brakes on when you are just pulling away...

Considering in the in that pic my speedo was saying around 90! And there was yellow smoke coming off my tires b/c they were spinning so fast.

non of you can beat this. dude to my tuning of the trans shift firmness my truck barks into 2nd....but on wet or snowy pavement when it barks it slides sidways.....also yes i know it was wet but we had a 500lbs trailer with 2 quads a honda 350 and a raptor 660. id say 1,200-1,500lbs of trailer. truck BARKED 2nd with a trailer and went a lil sideways. hahaha i love that tuner !!

after i put my longtubes on from idle i went WOT dry pavement smoked um threw an intersection.....hey i did that the other day while turning left and sliding sideways

my 4.6> your 5.4 *unless u got a blower...cheaters*

my 4.6 supercrew wont spin tires. i can power brake it and it locks it out at 3k rpms and the tires just barely spin, i think it has something to do with the BOO switch. its retarded lol.

Patman i need you to do that jmod for me. i dont feel comfortable tearing into the valve body. im a heavy engine mechanic not a slush box mechanic lol. so make a trip to tennessee and help me do this

I cleaned my valve body and replaced aluminum plungers/pistons for a steel set. That was the first and so far,- last time I ever took the trans apart. I have the E4OD/4R100 tho, maybe that's easier. I had to do it tho, my trans was about dead. That was 3 years ago, still goin strong. I have pics of it, but yea, -it's E4OD.

lol i hear ya. its a heck of a drive.

so the write up from tccoa, is it all the same with our VB or are their suttle differences. i really wanna do this but don't know where to even start. just out of curiousity, how much does the plate cost. that seems like a better way to go and plus it reversible if i ever sell the truck. comments?
