Well do to rain i wont be working on the truck today, but i did manage to remove the tape BEFORE the rain came in.

and as i was afraid the tape pealed sections of the black off. I have no clue as to why the black didnt hold in some areas while it held great in the majority.

but i did take some pictures, they look amazing Black/red

Those look sweet!! I wouldn't care if the paint peeled. Places you are going to be going will probably mess them up again anyways.

thats just it, ive painted 4 or 5 sets of wheels and never had a problem with any of them... none have chipped or pealed, even offroad. They do get some scratches every now and then but thats obvious

Well either way, you made all the right choices with the red/black theme. Have you decided what you are going to paint all the suspension stuff? That red would be crazy looking under there.

Nice.. Gunna look sweet. Food for thought.. you are going to be getting this gnarly cage going around your truck. That would look SICK if it matched the wheels.. just saying.

cage is so far down the road I cant even see it. But a red cage might look pretty cool. not sure will keep that in mind

haha we can go to 54's becuase thats the biggest DOT approved tire on the market. (Boggers & Baja Claws)

Ive searched and searched for tire size limitations in FL but can find anything in the book. So as long as it DOT approved then we can run it.

I can't even remember our lift law right now.
I know it's rather limiting, I think they can get you for bumper, frame, tires, and rims. Only nonlegal rim up here right now, that I can think of, are beadlocks though so it's not too bad in that category.

Believe it or not, I've actually had the height of the frame rail measured relative to the ground, as well as the bumper height here in FL by a jackass cop. He couldn't right me a ticket though.
