Looking for some lift advice

i have an 01 lariat 4x4... right now i swapped out the 2 inch blocks in the rear for 3 inch blocks and then leveled it in the front with aftermarket keys. im running 20's on it and may be considering a 6 inch lift. Basically what im wondering is what are the good kits and the average costs for parts as i will be installing it myself with a buddy, also do you need to change gears or no? any help is greatly appreciated thanks

Most people like Fabtechs around here. Procomps are decent too. Idk how much those kits are but I can tell you that you don't absolutely have to re-gear if you only run 35" tires. Although you might want to if you have the money.

I have a febtech on mine paid about 1500 for the kit and 800 to install it...I'll tell you right away its hard on ball joints and wheel bearings, altho I wheel my truck pretty hard...I have 3.73 gears and the top end sucks big time...
