I have been looking at lifts for a while now. I want to do a 4-6" lift . My screw is my daily driver and although I would love to do a 10" w/ some 37"s its just not that practical for a daily driver. I have looked at FABTECH, Rancho, rough country,RCD and skyjacker to name a few. The Fabtech and the Skyjacker seem the most expensive by far while the Rough Country comes in at just $995. I like the RCD but I dont care for that for a screw it only gives 4" of lift and cranking my t-bars is NOT an option. I dont want the harsher ride associated with that type of lift.

I am leaning to rough country as of now b/c it doesn require cutting the diff or exhaust in any way plus it is $995.

I know you can do a body lift on our trucks but I really dont care for the gaps between the frame/body. I know that they make gap guards but IMO they look cheap and if you lift a truck the suspension lift is the way to go.

Where did you find the expy console, I would love to do that. Did you already have two bucket seats or did you have to find them? I have a 60/40 split bench.

Well if everything goes as planned i found some running boards at a salvage and should be getting them by saturday hopefully. Save my leather because of me sliding on the sides of it right now... IF everything goes as planned. They are the chrome oval OEM Ford step bars. they look somewhat like this...

After i get them i will NOT leave them chrome. Do yal think i should paint them the Metallic Gold like my trim (never seen it done before) or Black??

Maybe gold? I am not sure yet. You have a mixed them going still with the chrome wheels and the gold/black. It could go either way and look fine.

That can be photo shopped my friend. Wouldn't even be that difficult. However, I think black or gold would look fine. If you paint your bumpers black (which I think you should) then I would say paint the step bars black as well.
