Will it fit: 97 Buckets Reg Cab swap into 2000 Ext Cab Split Bench

Hello,

Would someone know if swaping Bucket seats from a 1997 Reg Cab into a 2000 Extended cab with Split bench is a direct bold on swap? Both are manual adjustment, both have lumbar adjustment and both does not have the seat belts part of the seats.

Thank you for any help you can provide,
Stephane

yes the will bolt right in. the fabric wont match though. you will need to tap some holes in the floor and make sure you get the mounting bolts from the donor truck with the seats. i had to get some from ford and they are about 10 bucks each

Im not so sure that they will just bolt right in. Reason being I bought some leather seats from an ext. cab to throw into my single cab. The mounts are completely different. At least for me. And upon further unspection, looks like they wouldn't sit in the right grove. I never went pass eyeballing the situation. I plan on taking the pass side seat out, and putting the other one in to see how it fits, but dreading the result.

If it does work however. Let me know, and take pics if you had to change anything. Very interested as I have a set of lariat leathers sitting in my garage, waiting to go in my truck.

Are you trying to swap out your front seat or the rear? I was kind of thinking of looking into something like this too but for the rear seats in my truck, (I have a 99 SuperCab, as ford calls it). Now that I am thinking of it, If i was able to I might just do a full-out seat swap all around given i can get them for a good price and it itn't too difficult to pull off. Let us know how it turns out.
