Bumper Opinions needed.

Well as you all know i have a 98 2wd with rhino lined stock front bumper.

I made a litte boo boo on it one night and im now looking for a new bumper.

pics

I have a few options and as expressed by some members here i thought id see what yall think about the new bumper i get.

Im going for low cost and it will be rhino lined also so im looking for painted or non chrome one. and my options are limited since i want to keep my lightbar

option 1:
Get another 97-98 2wd bumper and get it lined

option 2:
get a 99+ bumper with 4x4 valence and get it lined and paint the valence black.

found this guy on craigslist and its pretty much what i was looking for since i use two of my hellas as fog lights

Thanks

well I am trying to figure out how you managed that, From what I hear to get it lined up right you would also need to get the grill and sourrond for the 99+ also, but if you do this again all you will need is the valance.

Long story short I ran the bumper over a poll in front of the parking spot I was in then backed off it when I remembered it was there haha.

Yea I'd have to get a new grille surround also and paint it which is an extra cost I have to worry about

*technically* you can have the 99+ bumper and 97-98 grille, there will just be a fugly gap there haha

ill probably go up to c/s sometime in the next month, but i probably wont drive my truck. tryin to keep some miles off her until i can replace some suspension/drivetrain stuff

To me the focus of your front end is the light bar and the smoked headlights so I don't think a 99+ front end would matter too much. The truck looks great with the 98 style

99+ bumper with a new grille surround and either a lightning or honeycomb grille would look awesome.
