Hey guys

I'm Mike and I'm new to f150online and hear great things about this site and now happy to be apart of it.... .... about 6 months ago I bought a 97 f150 with a 4.6L v8 2wd "i know...i know" .....with the weather in Canada I should be driving a 4x4 but for 1000$ who wouldn't of bought it lol....I don't use this truck as my daily driver, but i use it for hauling bigger things around the house...like grocery shopping "AWSOME for that" buying a new 50" tv, bbq....etc.....

Any how, when I bought the truck the the O/D light on the shifter flashes on and off...some1 told me it could be the tranny, but honestly....I don't think it is...the Tranny runs nicely and drives smooth....and while driving if i hit the O/D button ...IT WORKS lol...

2nd this had just happend to me...my driver side window won't roll up or down....i took the door panel apart thinking maybe it's the motor...I even tried testing with a test light to see if it was the switch, but hitting up or down i'm getting current on the test light wich tells me it's not the switch....but sometimes randomly the window goes down automatically with the truck running for some strange reason....any Ideas on that??

3rd....The truck Idles a little rough...when at a stop light the RPM sit's at about 1000 is that normal?

Now i do know that the exhaust manifold does have a crack in it....and the exhaust system has about 3 leaks in it....could this cause it to idle rough? I changed the air intake with a k&n filter...and i cleaned the air intake manifold as well. I changed all spark plugs and 1 C.O.P. "coil over plug" had a crack in it so i changed that just incase if that one plug wasn't getting a proper spark.
