2000 F150 Automatic Shifter Rattle
I have a rattle in my 2000 F150 Automatic that just started last week and it is driving me crazy. It seems to be coming from the automatic shift lever. Any bump in the road and it rattles. If I place a tiny bit of pressure on it with my middle finger to support it, it stops.
Anyone aware of the cause of this or if someone non-mechanical like myself can fix this.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I am having the same problem, however from what i've seen most people are saying there are 2 torx screws to tighten somewhere around the column or under the dash but without some sort of picture I don't know where find these. Hopefully we can get some re-inforcement here. I know this is an old post just thought I may be able to find some help also.....
